M81 Woodland Camo, AKA "God's Plaid" pattern is nearly identical to the ERDL (Engineer Research & Development Laboratories) Pattern, which was designed/developed by the U.S Army in 1948. To improve the camouflage and reduce the "blobbing" effect of ERDL at a distance, the military changed the pattern by removing the horizontal repeat of the print and making it 1.6x larger. M81 is a simple and effective pattern for the Partisan operating in woodland environments.
