The DS-Series is a steel-body aftermarket magazine built for the double-stack Glock 19 and Glock 17, extending the same design standard Shield Arms established with the S-Series (Glock 43X/48) and Z-Series (Glock 43) to the platform's most popular full-frame pistols.

When Shield Arms brought the first steel-body aftermarket magazine to the Glock 43X and 48, the rest of the industry followed. The DS-Series carries that same construction forward to the Glock 19 and 17.

When does the DS-Series launch?

Will the DS-Series fit my Glock 19 or 17?
The DS-Series is engineered specifically for the Glock 19 and Glock 17, but fit all 9mm double stack Glocks that use the G19 and G17 frame sizes. Compatible with generation 3-6 Glocks.
What's the difference between the DS-18 and DS-20?
Capacity. The DS-18 holds 18 rounds and the DS-20 holds 20 rounds, both built on the same steel-body DS-Series platform for the Glock 19 and 17. DS-18 mags will not fit in a G17 frame, but DS-20 mags will fit in a G19 frame.
How is the DS-Series different from the S-Series and Z-Series?
All three share the same steel-body standard. The S-Series fits the Glock 43X/48, the Z-Series fits the single-stack Glock 43, and the DS-Series is sized for the double-stack Glock 19 and 17.
Will the DS-Series carry the same warranty as other Shield Arms magazines?
Yes. Every Shield Arms magazine, including the DS-Series, is covered by our lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
Do I have to swap out my mag catch?
Yes. We believe the best pathway for long-term reliability is steel on steel or plastic on plastic. The OEM catch is plastic, so we recommend swapping it out with our mag catch.
