Which Shield Arms Magazine Extension Fits My Mag?
Shield Arms makes billet aluminum magazine extensions for factory pistol magazines from five brands and for its own steel magazines. Each extension is sized to a specific magazine.
- Glock®: factory Glock 17, 19, 26 and 43 magazines, and the Glock 43X/48 15-round steel magazine.
- SIG Sauer, Smith & Wesson, CZ and Springfield Armory: factory magazines, including the M&P 2.0 +5, the Echelon +5, and the CZ P-10 S, P-10 C/P-07 and P-10 F/P-09.
- S-Series: +2, +5 and +10 take an S15 to 17, 20 or 25 rounds; +2 and +5 take an S10 to 12 or 15.
- Z-Series: +1 and +3 take a Z9 to 10 or 12 rounds.
- DS-Series: extensions for the DS18 and DS20.
- Most extensions are also sold pre-installed, and every one is backed by a lifetime warranty.

Will an extension fit my magazine?
Each extension is made for a specific magazine. Factory-mag extensions fit the factory magazines listed on the product page; S-, Z- and DS-Series extensions fit Shield Arms magazines. Check the product page before you order.
Extension or pre-installed?
Buy the extension alone to upgrade magazines you already own. Buy pre-installed to get it already fitted to a magazine, ready to load.
Do I need a new spring?
It depends on the extension. Some include a longer spring and some run on the factory spring. Each product page lists what's in the box, and replacement springs are sold separately.
How do I install one?
Remove the factory floor plate and swap on the extension. Our installation guides walk through each one step by step.
